Subject: IS usefull
All four volumes of the Encyclopaedia Biblica (EB) are available here. The PDFs of the four volumes are of good quality and browse much faster than the PDF versions of Vols. II-IV posted by Trinity College, University of Toronto. The DJVU versions are, unfortunately, useless (this is a pity, as DJVU is the format I prefer of all books at Archive.org.) as are the Read Online versions. EPub, Kindle, and Daisy versions have not been tested. Ultimately, this post provides all four volumes of the EB in a sufficiently good quality (but PDF only) for quick browsing, reading, and research (the "find" function in my Foxit PDF reader works okay).
Adapted from the review of mandi blais: "Th[e] Encyclopaedia Biblica [was] published between 1899 and 1903. The EB was truly an awe-inspiring, prodigious enterprise. It represented the best in Biblical research of the late 19th century, featuring articles written by William Robertson Smith (the main force behind the launching of the EB project, who died before he could see it come to fruition), Julius Wellhausen (the most well known adherent of the "Documentary Hypothesis"), and many, many other scholars from both the English-speaking world and Germany."
EB by Trinity College, University of Toronto:
Vol. II: http://archive.org/details/encyclopaediabib02cheyuoft
Vol. III: http://archive.org/details/encyclopaediabib03cheyuoft
Vol. IV: http://archive.org/details/encyclopaediabib04cheyuoft

What a pity...
Whoever scanned these volumes did a very poor job - the resolution is so bad that the text is virtually unreadable. Even Google does better than this.
